Personal Choice - Construction Zone!

I decided to hang around a construction area (safe, right?) There were a lot of objects that the guys were interacting with though so I'd thought it'd be perfect for adding more environment : ] Oh, and some non-chalant leaf blower guys walked by too.

Here's some of my favorite in class images and we practiced on hands, faces, and expression through walk (and all of the above really). I'm starting to experiment with shape and form outside of my usual style now :P

Ballet Met- Contemporary 2

I was really inspired by the video that we watched in class today, so I wanted to try experimenting with a more gestural style again that is less bulky and flowy. I know I was supposed to add hands to improve on them, but I didn't want it to look out of place on some of the figures.

Free Choice- Huntington Park

There was a meeting in Einstein's yesterday, and there were definitely an interesting bunch of activity going on too. The most challenging pose was the man sitting down, and even though I'm aware the proportions might not be completely accurate I'm glad I took the foreshortening challenge.

OSU Union 2

Here's some images from the OSU Union session recently- I think I enjoyed this the second time due to the variety of people that were going through due to a convention/school starting for them. I know the portions are jank on the sitting guy :P

Musicians exercise

The music genres I chose were techno/alternative, jazz and classical (full orchestra). I'm kind of in love with Chromeo right now, so they're a smidge detailed ;D

Day at the Park - Oct. 10th

Here are my favorites from the day at the park- plenty of activity :] I enjoyed drawing the children and dogs the most that day.

October 5th- Goodale Park

Had some fun drawing people exercising and children today- I also got some more practice with dogs :]

Make up work

Watching people late at night in the Crane center is very interesting indeed... (makeup work for sick day) -  I think I'm going to focus less on quantity and more on quality - I tend to lose some of my character skills when I worry too much about getting a lot of figures down. Here we have someone waiting, two people wrestling (/attacking playfully?) and one girl who looked exhausted meeting with her group.
